Why (and how) HP.com is (finally) turning the usability corner

As I mentioned in a recent blog, we’ve been putting our eBusiness index sites through new usability paces. Most haven’t fared particularly well in light of our tougher standards — with some losing upwards of 1,000 usability points since last Fall.

That is, except HP.com, which seems to be hitting its stride at just the right time.

Two things of note are happening at HP.com…

HP.com lost only 67 usability points based on our much tougher usability standards. Meanwhile, IBM.com and Dell.com lost lots of ground
