Our detailed evaluations of 22 leading IT Websites illustrates that industry leadership can, in fact, translate to leadership on the Web. Our five star performers include the Who’s Who? Of the IT industry, IBM.com, Cisco.com, Oracle.com, Microsoft.com — and Sun.com, which will be acquired by Oracle at the end of the summer. Among the sites evaluated, IBM.com is the clear industry leader. It ranks as a top performer based on meeting the most best practices benchmark criteria and clocking the highest overall usability scores.

Of course, success on the Web is a constantly moving target — and our evaluations prove that point. Once the scores were tallied, three "Fast Movers" emerged that should be on every team’s watch list. CA.com gained ground by meeting additional product marketing-related benchmark criteria. Dell.com and Juniper.net each moved up due to usability improvements. Among these fast movers, Juniper.net is the site to watch.
